In addition to our internal game development projects, we assist game teams worldwide in unlocking new gameplay and accelerating their development through technological innovation by providing expertise in engine programming, physics, simulation, and networking. JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a C++ PROGRAMMER who demonstrates passion and curiosity in building complex systems and a desire to push the boundaries of technology in video games. Working across multiple projects, you will collaborate with development and design teams to find technical solutions to help our partners realize their vision.

As a C++ PROGRAMMER, you will be responsible for:
  • Independently implementing software in C++
  • Analyzing and estimating deadlines, costs, and requirements, as well as the impact of proposed features
  • Rapidly prototyping a new feature in the game
  • Producing quality code (robust, efficient, and easy to maintain)
  • Collaborating with game design, art, animation, user interface, programming, and management teams to realize the technical design of a given feature
  • Producing technical design documents (TDD) for more complex systems and participating in technical code reviews
  • Bringing features to the expected quality level and ensuring that ambitions remain within deadlines
  • Keeping technical documentation of technical systems up to date, sharing knowledge with peers, and presenting delivered work
  • Estimating and meeting deadlines

EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • Good C++ programming
  • Experience with Unreal preferred; otherwise, experience with other game engines

OTHER SKILLS

  • Ability to work in a team, in person, and remotely
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, organize work, manage time, and work on schedule
  • Ability to work closely with other disciplines such as art, technology, design, and production
  • Creativity (originality and resourcefulness in seeking solutions)
  • Desire to push the boundaries of technology in video games, willingness to learn, and take on challenges
  • Maturity to give and receive constructive criticism and challenge your peers to help them grow
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
